The warm weather has finally arrived! Now it's
time to remind everyone of those potential safety
hazards that heat can bring to your hounds.
- Be sure to limit the amount of time your dog
spends outside, particularly in the sun.
- Never leave your dog in a parked car.
- Remember to apply a monthly tick protection.
- On long walks, carry a spritzer bottle full of
water and spray your hound as needed.
- Know the warning signs for heat exposure.
